Excel Programme - Update

Extended Schools Update
“If what you want doesn’t come to you, go out and get it” (Unknown)

Ø Excel Programme Video
A video promoting a small selection of the extracurricular activities that run in our school is now online to view on the VLE and the school website.

Ø Basketball
Since the beginning of the year, pupils have been given lots of opportunities to practice their Basketball skills. Through the support of Mr Wood, staff at the leisure centre and from Oldham Ball Hall, our school teams are doing very well and now have a new kit to play their games in.

Ø Eco Club – Manchester Arndale Competition
I am happy to say that we are through to the 2nd round of the Green Your Grounds competition, where our school has the chance to win £5000 to further develop our school garden.

Ø Leisure Centre
The Old Sports Hall, Red Room and Green Room will not be used for lunchtime activities on Tuesday 10th February due to exams.

Ø Police Drop In Sessions
The Police will be visiting our school every Tuesday lunchtime to offer support, advice and guidance to both pupils and staff. Please feel free to speak to the officers and make them feel welcome.
