Ø Film Club is Back!
Wed 22nd and Fri 24th April – Ghostbusters
Tickets will be available for pupils to purchase from the school shop in the first week back after the Easter holiday.

Ø Parent and Child Cooking Course – Summer Term
I have one space left on the parent and child cooking course that will run every Wednesday (4.30-6.00pm) during the first half of the summer term. If you know of a parent and child who would benefit from this free activity, please let me know, thanks – Mr Kelly.

ØWrestling – Reminder: Starts Wed 22nd April
A reminder to all staff who have forwarded pupils to these sessions. Starts on Wed 22nd April at 3pm in Old Sports Hall (Leisure Centre). Pupils need to wear tracksuits/sportswear. They must get changed in the school changing rooms after period 5. Any questions, please feel free to ask me, thanks – Mr Kelly.

Failsworth in Focus

MEND Launches Mon 27th April 2009 – Failsworth Leisure Centre
MEND is a free programme for kids to become fitter, healthier and happier. The 10 week programme is for children aged 7 to 13 and involves lots of fun, games and activities. It launches on Monday 27th April at Failsworth Leisure Centre and will run every Monday 5-7pm and Thursday 6-8pm.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

Failsworth School – Parenting Consultation - Wed 1st April

Failsworth School is inviting parents of children (from schools in Failsworth) in years 5, 6, 7 and 8 to an evening of fun and discussion to help shape parenting support services in Failsworth.

A complementary buffet and refreshments will be served.
